Come back to the scene of Saturday’s success to chill at the Survivors’ Session – a jamming indoor gig with special guests. From 2.30pm ‘till we drop.

FOOD AVAILABLE BOTH DAYS

The festival is held in the courtyard of the restored Ballydugan Mill, 2 miles outside of Downpatrick off the main Newcastle Rd

On Saturday, there is strictly no parking at or around the Mill other than for disabled access. A Free shuttle bus service every half hour between the Mill and the Ulsterbus depot in Downpatrick. Free buses to Belfast & Newry, leave venue 1AM.

Celebrating its sixth year Get Down With The Blues has invited back great past performers and topped with exciting new artists like the International Wilko Johnston Band.

Picturesque country side, a beautiful courtyard, sunshine, BBQ, beer, blue sky and STUMPING BLUES MUSIC!

Only five hundred tickets released. Come and chill a bit, dance a bit, love a lot!

One of the best rhythm guitarists in the world” Wilko is the original “Man in Black” from Dr Feelgood and Ian Drury and the Blockheads, he’s lean, mean and totally wired. Norman Watt-Roy, bassist, and drummer Monti are both ex- Blockheads and between them have recorded with The Clash, The Cocteau Twins, Jesus and Mary Chain and Curve.

"Get Down with the Blues" is organised by Downpatrick Blues and Roots Music Society, a non-profit group of volunteer enthusiasts.
